Today was quite the day.
The highlight of our day today was our trip to Enchanted
Moments to meet the infamous Francine Haydon. Francine’s qualifications are as
follows:
Tarot Reader, Palmist, Ordained Minister, Medicine Wheel
Practitioner/ Teacher, CERTIFIED GHOSTHUNTER, hypnotherapist, and free soul
instructor.
If there was someone that could give us any insight on what
to do next, it was Francine.
We arrived at Enchanted Moments promptly at 1pm, when we
were told Francine would arrive. She was running a bit late, so we took a
little walk to Row House, known to be one of old Milford’s haunted places. We
perused that paintings a bit, saw many winged wolves, however…we felt no
spirits. Obviously we were not as gifted in our craft as we hoped.
We then headed to Gayles, a vintage clothing shop, also down
in Old Milford. We saw many wonderful garbs. Our logic is this…If we are
attempting to get in touch with old spirits, wearing clothes from that era
would help us to do that. We found two long black cloaks that we believe are a
necessity to our ghost hunting outfits, as well as silk gloves and hats which
appear to be from around the 18th century. We would have bought
these outfits immediately, however at the moment our funds are limited.
At around 1:30 we headed back to Enchanted Moments. To our
pure joy, Francine had arrived. We introduced ourselves to her and told her
about our experiences and upcoming plans. We asked her to insight us with her
wisdom, and tell us how to improve our techniques and where we should go
next. She was of unimaginable help and
introduced us to two amazing instruments used in spirit communication.
Now, I, Holly, like many of you…have questioned the
legitimacy of spirit communication in the past. Gwen has been much firmer a
believer than myself until today.
The first tool, were golden dowel rods. These L shaped rods
are used for spirit communication. You hold the short end in your hands, with
the long end facing straight forward. Both long ends must be parallel in front
of you. After you find your center of balance, and the dowel rods are still,
you ask the spirits, “Show me a yes”. THE RODS STARTED TO CROSS. Instead of
being like II <<this….then were like X<<< this!!!! Then, when
asking the spirits, “Show me a no.” The dowel rods returned to their parallel
position. Francine demonstrated this first. Me, being the skeptic I am, assumed
she must have been doing something to make the rods move. After trying myself,
I got the same result. I was as still as possible, and the rods still crossed
when I asked the spirits to show me a yes, and they uncrossed when I asked to
show me a no.
The second tools were pendulums. Francine demonstrated by
asking the same yes or no question to the spirits while holding the pendulum
still. When asking them to show yes, the pendulum swung side to side. When
asking to show no, the pendulum started swinging back and forth. I tried this myself. The pendulum acts
differently based on the person holding it. In my case, yes meant a very heavy
vibration of the pendulum. No meant that the pendulum went completely still.
Needless to say, we bought one of each of these tools and
with Francine’s advice, headed to the nearby graveyard at Camp Dennison. At first we kind of stumbled around, not
really sure what to do, randomly asking different graves questions. But eventually, we got the technique down. It was there that we proceeded to talk to
three spirits. I will transcript two of the conversations to you as follows.

Gwen and I had to be at work in a
couple of hours. We thanked the spirits for their time and answers. We feel like the key to speaking to spirits was to be very respectful. We left
Camp Dennison Cemetery. This was our first communication with the ghosts. We
have made great progress. We plan to use our new tools again soon and post
pictures of them as well. If any of you know or have heard of Mr. Orville
McClain, buried in the cemetery at Camp Dennison, death year of 1981, please
help him…or beware. We have word from a reliable source that he has some
unfinished business to attend to before he crosses over to the other side.
That’s all for now.
Until next time, God Speed.
