Hello all!
Today we decided to test out our tools a little more to see if they are truly legitimate. I still have my doubts, though the things we keep experiencing are really making me think...
We started out our adventure today around 2pm at the St. Andrew Cemetery. We caught this experience on video, which will be posted later today. I chose a random tombstone that Gwen had not seen. This was a lady named Catherine who had lived a long life. Gwen stood behind the tombstone with the pendulum and proceeded to ask questions. Catherine answered everytime, correctly to the questions we knew the answers to. She correctly told us her gender, birth year, that she was a mother, a grandmother, and that she had lived to a very old age. She also confirmed that she had lived through a few wars but none of her sons had fought in the wars. She told us she was married. However, we couldn't find her husband's tomb.
It is worth it mentioning that when we first entered the cemetary, two children were running around, both had to be under ten years of age. At this point, I wasn't surprised if they really were ghosts. They disappeared. As we were walking back to our car we saw one of the girls in the woods with a young man, and they were digging in the dirt. Keep in mind it was slightly sprinkling at this point. We have no idea what these young children were doing running around a cemetery in the rain, and digging in the woods, but it was definitely weird.
After we communicated with Catherine it was my idea to try to drive back to the Satanic church. We hadn't done this yet because the last time we tried, the bridge was closed. Since that experience, I had gained some insight from a coworker who confirmed the red church, St. Philomena, was in fact the Satanic church and that someone she knew used to go there. According to her, most of the people back in peaceful valley are part of a cult that meets at that church. So of course, we had to get to the bottom of this ourselves. My plan was to go to St. Philomena church. It was after all, a Sunday. I figured we could go in and grab a bulletin, and confirm or deny these rumors ourselves once and for all.
As we arrived at the covered bridge, it was once again closed, for reasons we really can't understand. We parked the car and walked under the signs across the bridge. We took some videos of this for you guys. We proceeded to walk past the houses, including the nice abandoned one to the church.
As we neared the church, the rain started to pour harder and harder. When we finally reached the church steps, it was torrential downpour. The front door of the church was locked. We walked around to the side, toward the cemetery. As we stepped on cemetary grounds, huge thunder errupted. The rain came down even harder and the wind started to blow extremely hard. We looked at some of the tombstones, many of them were of people who have died recently, with pictures on the stones. Finally the weather got so bad we decided we should head back to the car. We were soaked.
As we headed back, we noticed the house behind the red church. There are many legends about this house. Many people have said that when venturing back to the church at night, they can see someone in the window watching them. One person claimed that one night as they were driving back there, all of the lights in the house went out at once. It is also said that the number of lights on in the house is equal to the number of the people in your car. We aren't sure about any of these rumors. But one rumor that seems to be very popular is that of a black jeep/suv that will chase you out of peaceful valley if you venture back there uninvited. There was a black jeep parked outside of the house. With its drivers door open. No one was around the jeep. We could see no one. Just the door open, in the pouring rain. It stayed open like that for several minutes, until we couldnt see it anymore because we were too far away.
As we ventured away from the church the rain started to come down softer and softer. It was gradually softer as we drove away. Outside of peaceful valley there was no rain, only sun. We found this to be pretty interesting.
As we were driving to get coffee we passed a very decrepid looking barn. We really felt like we needed to check it out. We parked our car and walked over to the barn. Inside, it was in total disrepair. The ceiling was caved in. The barn was basically useless. Inside the barn were a few saddles hanging on the walls, and an axe hanging on the floor. Gwen wanted to use the pendulum here. She got a spirit in the barn to start answering her questions consistently. The spirit told us that he/she had not died in that barn, but that we should be wary of the barn, and we should leave immediately. We took the spirits advice, and headed back to the car.
Our final destination today was to go to the house of Earl. R. Jackson. This is a name that pops up on the Garmin when searching places of worship in the area. The last time we drove to the address, it was an abandoned looking house, overgrown with vines, with a small building behind it and a delapitated barn nearby. At the time we didn't get out of the car. Gwen said she wanted to call before we went to check the place out. We called the number online and the phone has been disconnected. However, if you google Rev. Earl R. Jackson Milford, OH online, you will find that this delapetated house is considered to be a baptist church since 2001, with two employees working there. We will definitely be investigating this house further.
Got some new leads today, more information to come, pics and vids too, stay tuned and have an epic father's day!
Did you guys ever go back and check out the haunted church, barn or whatever? Always have heard about The Devil's church out there, but never had the chance to check it out. I live in the eastern part of cincy.
